NYC New York Color review

So spoke to my sister in law this morning (whom I dont get to speak with much) . Anyway she was telling me she had seen my new blog link on my facebook page and she asked me what it was about. I was telling her and the conservation came around to Birchbox. Now I assumed any girl who was even reasonably into beauty products had heard of Birchbox by now! She had not , I was shocked. So for those of you who do not know heres the low down.
Birchbox is a monthly subscription , Its only 10 bucks a month, you fill out a beauty profile and they send you 4 to 5 Beauty samples per month, (They try to send your samples based on your beauty profile answers). Its an awsome thing for beauty junkies or for ladies who have a hard time finding products that fit their needs and likes and who dont want to spend a ton of money trying every product to find out what works for them. And here is what i got in my Birchbox This month just to give an idea of the kinds of samples you can get.
AGELESS (The secret of youth) by Harvy Prince. 

It was a perfume sample and it smells wonderful. I would defiantly Purchase this sent if I didnt have like 1,000 perfumes already.  

 Next was The porefessional by benefit. Basically A primer to minimize pores. I have been a benefit fan for ever so I was already very familiar with this product.  I love almost anything from Benefit!

 OROFLUIDO HAIR ELIXER If you have dry frizzy unruly hair like myself this stuff is great. Some people got this in their Birchbox a few months ago , and even though I didnt receive the sample then I went ahead and ordered the full size ( All the reviews sounded so amazing) And let me tell you not only does it work, it smells absolutely amazing!
 Next their was this Tape called Show Stoppers

It says stop the peep show. I have tried tapes like this in the past although not this brand and they always come in handy in a pinch. Sure I will put these to good use. 

 Next is a drink mix called EBOOST. It says no sugar , no artifical flavors, low calorie, and has lots of vitamins and minerals. Its purpose is for a boost of energy. I am saving this one until I really need it. lol (I will let ya know).

Last (But Definitely Not least) Was the Jouer Lip gloss in Birch box pink! Birchbox teamed up with jouer this month to create an inclusive color  for Birchbox subscribers!  Its A nice color and one coat gives kind of a natural sheen whlie adding coats gives you more of that pink pop!

SOOOOO I have been waitin to receive my first Voxbox from Influenster. I finally Received it this morning . So excited! For those of you who haven't heard of Influenster it is community of trend setters with an opportunity to receive free boxes of products to test and give reviews about. So I am excited to receive my first box and cant wait to give my feedback about these products. so here is my first box.
I received imPress press-on manicure by Broadway nails. Not a fan of press on nails but these look interesting and I'm gonna give them a try.
Softsoap coconut scrub bar (enriched with coconut extract). Again not a fan of bar soap, but this smells amazing and i cant wait to give it a try!
Montagne jeunesse face mask, I have seen these in my local drug store but have never tried them. (Cant wait)!
New York color liquid lip shine. Since I am a total gloss junkie I like it already!
Mentos pure fresh gum, couldnt wait to tear into it! it taste wonderful and freshens breath.

Also one more thing, I have never heard of the brand but it seems like a great concept.......Larabar..Made from only 2-9 ingredients each bar is a blend of just fruits , nuts and spices. Sounds yummy.

Waiting Waiting for my holiday voxbox from Influenster! This will be my first one and im soooo excited to try! Anyone else out there An Influenster fan??

I would like to start a discussion about BareMinerals color shift  eye color. I ordered it because I absolutely LOOOOOOVED the concept of an eye color that went on as one color and could be buffed lightly anywhere u wanted to make another color. (perfect idea for people like me who have a little trouble with the perfect placement of colors for a dramatic eye look). Problem is when i first put it on it goes on the color that it is actually supposed to buff out to be. I have tried several different application techniques. I was wondering if anyone else out there has tried this product and if so does it work for you?
